Michael K. Williams Debuted His Ol’ Dirty Bastard Impression During ‘Brooklyn Zoo’ Performance

You wanna react? Why yes, we do, ghost of Ol’ Dirty Bastard/Big Baby Jesus/Joe Bananas/Peanut the Kidnapper reincarnated through The Wire actor Michael K. Williams during a recent performance of “Brooklyn Zoo” at Brooklyn Bowl in, you guessed it, Brooklyn, New York, for a Hurricane Sandy benefit. Our reaction:

And then we actually listened to the song. As you likely remember/will never forget, Williams is slated to play ODB in a movie based on the rapper’s life. Dirty White Boy doesn’t have a release date yet, or even the rights to Wu-Tang Clan’s music, which is kind of important considering a movie about Wu-Tang without “C.R.E.A.M.” is no Wu-Tang movie at all, so this might be the last we see of Omar Dirty Bastard for some time, and considering Williams’s performance, maybe that’s not such a bad thing. It’s his not fault, though — no one can top this.
