Led by Palm Desert, California’s red-headed rabble rouser, Josh Homme’s Queens of the Stone Age performed live for the first time in a year and a half during Lollapalooza Brazil last night. More importantly, they played a new song, “My God Is the Sun,” from their forthcoming album, …Like Clockwork, due out in June.
It’s exceptional, a mashup of space rock, prog rock, and the blues, with Mars Volta’s Jon Theodore on drums.
