The Floria Sigismondi-directed music video for Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors,” one of the standout tracks on The 20/20 Experience, is split into two parts. The first is a love story that, in true Notebook fashion, spans decades, showing a couple at various stages of their happy-then miserable-then resigned relationship. It’s more emotionally effective than I care to admit — what is it about old people that fascinates Mickey Mouse Club members so?
In the second, Justin Timberlake dances in a hall of mirrors, because the song is called “Mirrors,” you see.
That probably looked cooler in theory.
