Michelle Obama first lady so hard, she’s gonna drop her own album no holds barred. According to Consequence of Sound, Obama has teamed with the Partnership for a Healthier America and Hip Hop Public Health to “release Songs for a Healthier America, featuring a who’s who of R&B and rap names touting the benefits of a healthy diet and regular exercise.” The guest spots come courtesy of, among others, Reverend Run, Ashtani, and Matisyahu.
Unfortunately, Obama doesn’t spit any rhymes, as the kids say, but she will “appear in music videos set to be distributed to schools nationwide.” AW SH*T, THEM MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE GONNA EAT THEIR CARROTS DAT NIGHT. I have one problem with this announcement, though: what’s Michelle’s MC name? If she wants to beef (turkey?) with Laura Bring Da Cush, she needs a good name. Otherwise, Obama can’t bring the drama.
