If you had asked me yesterday the best way for Justin Bieber to rehabilitate his douchetastic image on the internet I wouldn’t have blinked before saying, “go on ‘Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis’ and allow Zach to make fun of him for all the things we make fun of him for.”
OK, I probably wouldn’t have suggested exactly that, on the spot, before blinking, a day ago, but if someone had given me a list of like three options there’s no way I wouldn’t have selected that one.
So I was simultaneously shocked and impressed to find a new edition of the best web series ever with special guest, the Belieber himself, waiting for the internet this morning. Zach sets the tone immediately with, “It’s really exciting to talk to you, especially right in the middle of your public meltdown.” So yeah, it’s pretty good. EVERYTHING about the Ann Frank line of questioning.
Oh man, this means we can’t totally hate Bieber now, doesn’t it? Like, only 97% of him going forward.
