It’s impossible to cover each bit of new music that comes out during the week, so every Friday, we’ll be doing an end of the week music roundup. It’s called Final Track, and we’ll count off a few songs released during the week that are worth giving a listen to. (via Getty Image)

Today, we've got selections from White Lung, Palehound, Yo La Tengo, and more.

"Blow It South" by White Lung

Remember when Hole was good? As in, the band with Courtney Love. Before she went completely nuts. It's true, that time actually existed. OK, well, White Lung is kind of like the good Hole (please don't comment on that), except far more blistering and ferocious and sinister and Canadian.

"I Get Clean" by Palehound

The plain-spoken Ellen Kempner sounds far more mature and morose than any 19-year-old should, and on "I Get Clean," she sings with a sigh that recalls the angsty best of the 1990s, a decade she probably doesn't remember.

"Look" by Tyler, The Creator ft. Hodgy Beats, Domo Genesis, and Earl Sweatshirt

"Super Kiwi" by Yo La Tengo

Fuzzy Yo La Tengo is the best Yo La Tengo.

"Mean Streets" by Tennis

Nothing mean about this — just sweet and leisurely.

"Edge" by Haim

The week of Haim continues with a lovely B-side from Days Are Gone, "Edge," co-written by Twin Shadow.

"Jackie" by Iceage

Far more tolerable than Sinead O'Connor and Miley Cyrus's all-out feud is this cover of O'Connor's "Jackie," as adapted to a bone-rattling degree and with a sneer by Iceage.
