Without his beard, Robin Pecknold is unrecognizable. I mean, I didn’t really know what he looked like with the beard, just that he had one, and odds were high that if I walked around Brooklyn and Portland long enough, asking everyone, “Are you the lead singer dude from Fleet Foxes?” eventually, I’d find him.
Now, with his freshly shaven look, which he debuted last night during his lovely cover of Pearl Jam’s “Corduroy” on Fallon, it’s going to be a lot tougher to stalk him *puts fox trap back in the box*.
