In between Key & Peele being absolutely delightful last night, Jon Stewart took a few minutes to touch on the burgeoning rivalry between New York City and Chicago spawned by One World Trade Center being named the tallest building in the United States over The Willis Tower (formerly The Sears Tower) thanks to the antenna being architecturally determined “a spire.” Got that?
Yeah, so that kinda/sorta technicality is not sitting well with Chicago, which is in and of itself a petty and funny story worth discussing. BUT THEN at the 3:24 mark THINGS ESCALATE to epic Palin-Trump dining levels when Stewart directs his anger at Chicago style deep dish pizza in the best food rant you’ll see this week. I mean, the new “sex and pizza” analogy take alone. Just watch before I transcribe the whole thing.
