It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Lily Allen, at least musically. After the release of her triumphant multi-platinum 2009 album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, she retired from music and dressed up as a green alien, apparently. Earlier this year, however, Allen announced she was working on her third album, and although we still haven’t heard anything from it, we DO have her first “new” song in four years. I say “new,” because it’s a cover of Keane’s “Somewhere Only We Know”…for a British department store? Take what we can get, I guess.
