Watch 17-Year Old Dylan Gardner Cover The Second Side Of ‘Abbey Road’ In Under 3 Minutes

Tomorrow marks the 44th anniversary of the official breakup of the Beatles, as April 10, 1970 was the day that Paul McCartney finally called it quits and announced that he had left the band. I guess calling this an anniversary is a little off-base, as that word has a celebratory feeling to it, and most people don’t really rejoice over the thought of the day that the Beatles broke up. Maybe the word I’m looking for is a poopaversary. I’m gonna trademark that.

Either way, musician Dylan Gardner has come up with a fun way to remember one of the greatest efforts of the band and the artists that he calls his heroes. The 17-year old recorded 15-second intervals of each song on the second side of Abbey Road using a different instrument for each tune, and while it doesn’t sound like much, it’s certainly an impressive feat. If he’s taking requests, I’d like to see Rancid’s “And Out Come the Wolves” next.
