Jack White has talked at length about his love for Kanye West, and even how he was going to appear on Yeezus until some “f*cking texting thing.” But it wasn’t until last night that he chose to show his appreciation through song. White covered “Black Skinhead,” and although it’s only a snippet, it’s still cool to hear how easily his band slips into “High Ball Stepper.” Meanwhile, many thousands of miles away, Beck decided to give Prince’s “1999″ a spin, because in the Becktionary, it’s always almost Y2K.
