After successfully making Cruella de Vil’s evil stepsister Nancy Grace look like more of a fool than she usually is (an impressive feat), 2 Chainz is considering running for mayor of College Park, Georgia, because once you’ve debated one pompous goof, why not take them all on?
2 Chainz, real name Tauheed Epps, told XXL Magazine that “I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.” He later added to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “I am looking forward to running at the end of this year or next year.”
There’s just one problem: he doesn’t actually live in College Park.
According to voter registration records, 2 Chainz currently appears to be registered to vote in the nearby town of Palmetto, and College Park’s incumbent mayor, Jack Longino, doesn’t think he meets the necessary requirements to run for office, telling the Daily Beast, “I truly and sincerely do not believe that he lives in College Park.” (Via)
I’m sure he’ll find a way. After all, if these guys can become the Presidents of the United States of America, there’s no telling how far 2 Chainz might go.
