Last March, David Letterman had a smile as big as Jay Leno’s chin after Future Islands performed their hit song “Seasons (Waiting On You).” It’s not often he gets THAT excited for an entire band — it’s usually just the drummer — but Letterman once again turned into a fanboy last night, when Foxygen took the stage to play “How Can You Really.”
His response: “No more phone calls! We had a winner, ladies and gentlemen!”
