For about a year now, a French record producer known only as Drixxxé has been turning soundtracks from classic 1970s porn films into mixtapes. It’s not what you might expect. There’s no canny “bow chicka bow wow.” Instead, many of the songs are uptempo and soulful.
Dangerous Minds notes that although there’s no official track list, some of the selections come from films like Black Lolita, Vampyros Lesbos, Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals, and my personal favorite, Sex O’Clock USA. I bet it’s never sex o’clock in Canada.
