After 18 years since their last release, Faith No More has a new album coming out Tuesday titled Sol Invictus. But they chose not to promote any of the songs off that new album on The Tonight Show. Amid a tapestry of flowers and adorned in white outfits, the band instead performed The Commodores’ classic “Easy.” Did we mention they’re a metal band?

  • Elsewhere in late-night, Ryan Adams performed “Starting to Hurt” which may be a comment on David Letterman’s impending departure.
  • With a new album currently “on shelves” (which really isn’t a thing anymore, but still a phrase, I guess), Earl Sweatshirt performed “Huey” and “Grief” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
