Donald Trump Attacks Neil Young On Twitter As A ‘Total Hypocrite,’ Brings Actual Evidence

When Donald Trump announced last week that he was running for president, he used Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” as his intro music onto the stage, where he made his announcement to a crowd of paid actors. Young was not a fan, saying through a spokesperson that the use was not authorized (although, Bernie Sanders is allowed to use the song).

Yesterday on Twitter, however, Trump launched an attack on Young, calling him a “total hypocrite” for now speaking out against his use of the song. The worst part of the Twitter attack, however, was in learning that Neil Young has actually had business dealings with Donald Trump.

I’m not saying that there should be an automatic quid pro quo here, and that Young should be obligated to let Trump use his song because Trump apparently gave him money to fund an audio deal, but damn! Of all the goons in the world you could have asked for money, you asked Donald Trump?

Whatever. Doesn’t matter. Trump doesn’t think much of the song he used to announce his presidency, anyway.

Considering that Trump also used “Memory” from Cats in his announcement, I actually believe that Trump doesn’t much care for Young’s song. I also believe Donald Trump is a windbag.
