Like Billy Corgan’s head and a bowling ball polisher, Kim Gordon’s f*ck-off voice fits perfectly into J. Mascis’ guitar buzz. The Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. alt-icons and old friends have worked together in the past (she helped celebrate the 25th birthday of 1987’s You’re Living All Over Me in 2012), but never as intimately as they did for “Slow Boy,” a new song for the third volume of Converse’s CONS EP series, “a unique music compilation that brings together eight incredible artists from varying genres to create four new tracks,” according to a press release.
