Two creative men chose unexpected disguises to rob an Indianapolis bank. The problem, of course, is that these notable outfits have drawn national recognition to their crimes. The two suspects dressed themselves as funk singer Rick James and drug dealer Youngblood Priest (a character from 1972’s cult hit, Super Fly), which makes the bank’s surveillance tapes pretty darn memorable.

The two men allegedly approached an Advance America bank teller in these fine outfits. They demanded an unspecified amount of money and fled. Indianapolis police released unexciting details about the robbers’ appearances:

The first suspect is described as being 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dark hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a black hat, all black clothing and was armed.

The second suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dreads. He was armed and wearing all black clothing.

Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 317 595-4000 or Crime Stoppers of Indiana at 317 262-TIPS (8477).

Fortunately, the surveillance camera footage reveals what the men truly looked like (when they did things you won’t take home to mother). Police also suspect them of robbing the Indiana Members Credit Union on Sunday. Look for these disguises to be late-breaking entries in this year’s Halloween costume department.
