Disclosure Release ‘Caracal’ Sampler Featuring Collaborations With Lorde, The Weeknd And Miguel

Disclosure’s new album Caracal is fast approaching, and to build hype for the Sept. 25 release date, the producer duo released an interactive sampler of the album which features collaborations with The Weeknd, Miguel and Lorde, among others.

All of the artists on the album got the Disclosure cover-art treatment, and clicking on a specific collaborator’s face will take you directly to their song on the album.

Overall, from the snippets that are presented here, Caracal sounds like a slightly more pop-oriented take on the sound that allowed Disclosure’s slow rise to fame on both sides of the Atlantic. That’s what happens when you bring in Lorde and The Weeknd, especially since the latter has pulled a full-on MJ star-turn.

Other collabs worth hearing are the Miguel track “Good Intentions” and the song with Nao, who was my pick for artist you may have missed this year.

Give a listen to the sampler up top and check out the track list below.
