Foo Fighters Brought Out Stevie Nicks And Haim To Cover Tom Petty And Fleetwood Mac

Say what you will about the Foo Fighters (I’ve certainly been guilty of having negative opinions about the group), but they put on a great and varied show. Fans going to a Foos concert know that they are going to get an excellent show and that’s about it. Case in Point: Dave Grohl and Co. brought out Haim and Stevie Nicks during a Los Angeles stop to cover Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac.

Nicks took over on vocals for “Draggin’ My Heart Around” while the girls in Haim did their best Pips impersonation. Not content to let Nicks go after one song, the Foos launched into Fleetwood Mac’s “Gold Dust Woman.”

Check that out below.

Busting out the Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty tracks is a surefire way to get those lighters out. Well played, Dave. This classic rock minute followed in the mold of other special guest appearances the Foos have hosted. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, members of Pearl Jam and members of Led Zeppelin and Queen have all popped on on the band’s massive tour.

For more Foos news, check out how angry Grohl is at the Emmys for cutting him off.
