Miguel Performed In A Michigan Family’s Living Room

Miguel concerts have, in the past, proven to be dangerous places. However, that doesn’t keep people from wanting to listen to his music, and one would imagine it’s even better when he brings the music to you. That’s what happened recently when Miguel performed in the living room of a Michigan family’s home.

This wasn’t just some strange, random occurrence, like the time Stephen Colbert hosted a local Michigan TV show. Miguel was performing on behalf of the group Make Room, an advocacy organization that works to help struggling renters. This is a cause that is of specific interest to Miguel, who, before performing his song “Coffee” from his album Wildhearts, stated:

“I grew up in a single parent family, and my mom often struggled. I would see her work really hard, and come home and be tired, and give everything she had to us. And it’s really cool to hopefully let you know that people are paying attention.”

You can watch Miguel play “Coffee,” and watch him perform “Adorn” and “What’s Normal Anyway” as well. It’s an intimate, acoustic show, which, to be fair, is fitting for some family’s living room. Miguel’s out there using his smooth R&B jam powers for good… and for giving people music to have sex to.
