Purveyors of Fleetwood Mac-ian indie pop and noted members of Taylor Swift’s #Squad Haim want to bring back the ladies-only festival Lilith Fair. The Sarah McLachlan-fronted indie festival ran for three years from 1997 to 1999 and attempted an unsuccessful revival in 2010, but the sisters Haim think they have what it takes to bring an all-female fest back.

Este Haim shared her ideas during a discussion with critic Kelefa Sanneh at the New Yorker Festival on Friday.

“We talk about this all the time, how there aren’t enough female-represented bands and artists at festivals. You don’t see them. And it’s really sad for us. We came up with the idea basically of why can’t we just bring back a festival that’s just ladies. Not that we don’t love the boys. Love the men.”

Este said her take on the festival would include Savages, Florence and The Machine and Chvrches, as well as friends of the band like Lorde, Jenny Lewis and Taylor Swift. She added that she wasn’t able to attend the original run of Lilith Fair, but did see many of the acts at separate concerts.

“I did see Melissa Ethridge in concert, I saw Sarah McLachlan in concert, I saw Paula Cole in concert, and Sheryl Crowe. All these amazing ladies had such an amazing outlet and place to play music, and it was really beautiful and I feel like that’s not really available anymore and that outlet isn’t there. We talk semi-jokingly but semi-seriously about making it happen. So stay tuned. I think that would be really magical.”

It’s worth noting that there are all-female fests out there currently, like Burger-A-Go-Go, but nothing on the scale of the original Lilith Fair.
