When T.I. let his out-of-date opinion slip that he doesn’t think a woman can be president this week, he was quickly lit up by social media and pretty much the entire world with a working brain. This led him to quickly apologize for his comments, so that should be the end of that. But, of course, it never is. Especially when one of the most powerful women in the country is asked about it.
TMZ caught up with Oprah Winfrey as she left CBS Studios in New York and asked for her thoughts on Tip’s Hillary Clinton thoughts, and she responded probably in the simplest, most memeable way possible.
“I wanna say, ‘Honey child, hush yo mouth. You don’t know what you talkin’ about.'”
She also gave this face, which is perfect to put big bold Impact letters over. Like so!
See! That could be used in any scenario! Also, we should mention that while T.I. has given a mea culpa for his backward views, maybe it would be helpful to note to anyone else who shares them that there are 22 sitting world leaders this very moment who are women.
So, just keep that in mind for the next time you talk about what women can’t do, or you might get a frowny Oprah meme sent your way.
