Watch Alanis Morissette And Meghan Trainor Cover ‘Ironic’ Dressed As Chickens

Alanis Morissette might be older and wiser now, but Jagged Little Pill is now 20 years old and still holds up pretty well (for the most part). To celebrate the anniversary, Morissette is promoting a special anniversary re-release of the album, and stopped by The Tonight Show to perform a few classic tunes, kinda. She did end up singing “Hand in My Pocket” at the close of the show, but it was the performance of “Ironic” that stood out with that Jimmy Fallon charm.

That’s all because Morissette, along with special guest Meghan Trainor, donned a chicken suit and clucked the entire song. Don’t let Ray Stevens see this because he’ll be calling his agent and then somehow spin this into another song praising Sarah Palin. Comedy gold all around.

How can you go wrong with chickens and nostalgia? You can’t, right? Join us tomorrow night when we’ll be covering Meredith Brooks singing “Bitch” with a selection of cute dogs dressed as the members of KISS.
