This Fan Wrote An Angry Letter To Demi Lovato After A Terrible Meet-And-Greet

Add Demi Lovato to the list of celebrity meet-and-greets that aren’t worth the hassle. Lovato superfan Josh Helfgott wrote a letter to Demi Lovato (and, let’s be honest, the internet at large) accusing her of being rude to her fans during a meet-and-greet session before a Seattle concert.

According to Helfgott’s letter, Lovato didn’t make eye contact with fans and rushed to get through 200 people in 15 minutes. And this isn’t his first overpriced promotional rodeo. Helfgott compares Lovato with other stars he’s met including Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift.

Check out Helfgott’s photo (and letter) with the “Stars” singer up top, and read the part his letter here:

Thanks for not looking us in the eye, asking our names, or saying two words to us. Thank your team for forcing the 15 year old girl, who traveled alone to meet you, to squeeze on the side of another group’s picture. And thanks for keeping your jacket on for photos while your team collected the wet jackets of fans who waited in the rain to meet you.

Sorry I am being passive aggressive. I’m angry. I’m angry because I assumed you were in a big hurry – that’s the only reason you would pay no attention to all of your fans, even though we all spent a lot of time waiting to meet you. I even flew across the country.

You had to be in a hurry, scrunching 200 fans into 15 minutes. There’s no way, I figured. But as I walked out of the room, I saw you slam your head back against the wall in relief – we were your last picture. Meeting your fans was over.

Apparently, bad meet-and-greets are becoming a bit of a trend in the Lovato camp. Lovato’s team gave Los Angeles fans who had purchased a meet-and-greet a day’s notice that the event was happening. Needless to say, several fans were agitated.
