While most Drake stans anxiously await the imminent release of Views from the 6, it feels like every other story that emerges about dude has to do with his runaway hit “Hotline Bling.” And yes, it is a fantastic song, but it’s probably time we get back to basics and elevate a real story about the 6 God. You know, like an app made in his name where you wipe away his sad tears.
Drizzy Tearz is a new app available on the iTunes App Store where you try your best to tap and wipe away the tears from the “Jumpman” rapper while moody Drake-like songs play in the background. And let’s be honest, it would be easy to make a sh*tty flash game to make a quick buck off the name of a famous rapper, but however goofy, there was some actual thought placed into the app.
The game is actually a little challenging; it’s genuinely hard to wipe all those tears away while a fake Drake raps and sings parodies like “tears fall like rainy days.” And yes, there’s an entire soundtrack of this.
Look, it’s hardly the new Candy Crush, but if you’re in a place that has no service, you’ll probably be entertained for a good five-minute period to wipe away Drake’s sad, Canadian tears.
