Taylor Swift was able to make a fan’s dream come true this weekend when her tour made its way to Sydney, Australia. Jorja Hope, a 12 year-old Swift superfan who resides in Australia, was diagnosed with progressive inner-ear hearing loss. When the young girl discovered her plight, she had one major concern: “I won’t be able to hear Taylor Swift sing.” We heard about Jorja’s wish when the story went viral a few weeks ago, and now Swift has made things happen.

Jorja’s twin sister, Chloe, stepped up to create an online campaign for her sister. According to Chloe, it is not known when precisely Jorja will lose her hearing, but the one wish that she had was to somehow meet Swift. Chloe created #HelpJorjaMeetTaylorSwiftSydney, and once the hashtag went viral, local Sydney radio station Nova 96.9 set things in motion to help arrange a meeting with Jorja and her idol.

After meeting Swift, Jorja gushed, “She was very, very amazing and very pretty. I didn’t expect her to be as tall as she was.” After the meeting, the sisters got a chance to watch Taylor perform at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, much to the delight of Jorja, who received an absolute dream come true courtesy of Swift.

Despite what may happen in the future with Jorja’s hearing, the young girl is on cloud nine right now thanks to the hard work of Chloe and ultimately Swift, who was able to grant a wish to one of her most diehard fans.
