Joseph Gordon-Levitt has managed to execute a Timberlake-ian level of charm in the past month or so to close the year. First, we saw his Lip Sync Battle version of “Yeah,” which was impressive enough, then we saw his freestyle with his The Night Before co-stars on Sway in the Morning. And then he shut it all down when his second lip-syncing performance dropped of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” in full drag.

If you were still on the fence about Joseph Gordon-Levitt, maybe this will budge you over (or make you hate him if you’re a cold blackheart.) The HitRecordJoe creator is stopping by the docu-sitcom The Muppets this week, and he’s teaming up with the ever spunky and newly single Miss Piggy. Though it would seem to be a quick grab at a ratings boost with a celeb spot — which, yeah, it probably is — these two do have more in common than you probably know. They both have gone toe-to-toe (or hoof in her case) with conservative pundits, and they both have covered Rihanna’s “B*tch Better Have My Money.”

So, this guest cameo above where the two do their best version of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” while the entire stage crew is screwing up should hopefully runneth your cups over for old Joe. Or maybe, if you kick dogs and cry louder when babies cry in restaurants, it won’t be for you. But who knows?! If you’re still holding out, “Going Going Gonzo,” the episode airing this week, also features a drum off between Animal and Dave Grohl. If that doesn’t get you, not sure what will.
