Kanye West is a fascinating dude, not just in his artistic output and distinct brand of self-expression, but also in how the public reacts to the man’s every move. If the dude coughs or offers up a dad-like take on Zoolander 2, things instantly springboard into an endless debate on if the man’s a misunderstood messiah or if he should be crucified in Times Square. Sh*t gets ridiculously heated when you bring up Yeezus and considering that the popular recording artist has been on trial in the public eye for ages, it was sort of inevitable he’d get the American Crime Story treatment.

Sensing the gap in the market, Funny or Die has crafted a clever ACS parody that subs out O.J. Simpson for the man that’s been on ya since O.J. had Isotoners. Using some savvy edits and quality Kanye archive footage, this bewitching clip teleports Kanye (and a few other contemporaries) back to the ’90s with extra emphasis on David Schwimmer/Robert Kardashian for reasons that you can probably sort out without the need for a trial. Plus, it sets up a sly ending and who doesn’t want to ring as much Schwimmer out of the deal as possible? Monsters! That’s who.
