This was bound to happen. It’s just surprising that Arcade Fire’s Win Butler was the one to do it. Under his DJ Windows 98 moniker, Butler mashed up Kanye West’s “Jesus Walks” with Beck’s “Loser” into “Jesus Walks, Loser” because topical! The result is quite good and opens up an entire world of Beck-West mashups. I’ll do the hard part: “Drunk and Hot Nitemare Hippy Girl.”
