Ariana Grande Called Out Two Radio DJs For Their Dumb And Sexist Questions

Hey, guys. Are you up for a story about Ariana Grande that doesn’t involve donut-licking, America-hating, or being carried around like a baby? Well then, this your lucky day.

All snark aside, Grande came off quite well in an interview with Power 106, where DJs Justin Credible and Eric D-Lux asked her some questions that she wasn’t down with.

When Grande was asked what she would choose from if she had to choose between her makeup and her phone, she was not pleased. Her response was, “Is this what you think girls have trouble choosing between? Is this men assuming that that’s what girls would have to choose between?”

Now, this isn’t the most sexist question ever asked in an interview, but it is a little silly, and one could assume a male artist would not be asked about such a frivolous topic. Unfortunately for the two DJ’s, their line of questioning didn’t get much better, and Ariana rightfully fried them for it. When trying to pin her by suggesting she (like all women) is on her cellphone too much, this exchanged occurred:

“Power 106: Can you really go without your cellphone? How many hours?

Ariana Grande: Yes. Many Hours!

Power 106: Ladies learn! Listen and learn!

Ariana Grande: Boys learn! Boys and girls, we can all learn.”

For the rest of the time, things got decidedly awkward, as Grande and the two DJs didn’t really seem to know what to do with each other. However, there was one more noteworthy moment; when Grande was asked what kind of change she would like to see in the world, she responded, “I have a long list of things I’d like to change. I think just sort of judgment in general; intolerance, meanness, double standards, misogyny, racism, sexism, all that shit. There’s lots we need to get started on. We’ve got work to do!”

You can watch the whole interview below, but things start getting awkward around 16:49:
