Watch The Throne Is Here And The Web Is Buzzing About It, Of Course

Our long national nightmare is over: After a number of stop/starts with the release date and the accompanying tour, rumors of a Jay-Z/Kanye feud, leaked but probably fake album posters, a mysterious mini-documentary that was pulled from the web, at midnight eastern time last night Watch The Throne dropped online, miraculously avoiding any leaks in the process. Additionally, tickets for the duo’s Throne tour went on sale this morning, and each ticket purchased entitles one to a free digital download of the album.
Though I’m dying to give the album a listen, I want to do it properly, so I’m waiting until after I get done with work today to do so — that way I can give it my undivided attention and take it all in while going for a walk or something. However, Twitter is going nuts over it — a #throneday hashtag has sprung up with people who’ve listened to the album or who are in the process of listening to it weighing in on it. Quite a few funny/interesting tweets from people I follow who’ve already sampled it popped up in my Twitter feed overnight, so I put together a few of them for your enjoyment after the jump.
HAPPY THRONE DAY, EVERYONE!
