Aziz Ansari Rocked The Weeknd With His Halloween Costume And Dubsmashed ‘The Hills’

This Halloween, Aziz Ansari decided to up the ante, and he succeeded when he dressed up as R&B singer The Weeknd. The comedian had the look down pat as he donned a leather jacket and sported a wig in his transformation to the popular performer. But that wasn’t enough for Ansari, who decided that he needed to try to dabble in the singing realm, as he sung some The Weeknd’s songs.

Ansari posted a Dubsmash video to his Instagram on Sunday morning while in all his Weeknd glory with the caption: “Happy Halloween.” The Parks and Recreation actor find filmed himself lip-syncing along to The Weeknd’s chart topping single “The Hills.”

Ansari truly gets method and taps into his costumed persona as he lip-syncs “I only call you when it’s half past five / The only time that I’ll be by your side.” The actor accompanies musicians of the indie band Titus Andronicus, who actually happened to cover “The Hills” in September.

So far, there hasn’t been any word from the Weeknd’s camp nor a video of the musician trying to dress up like Ansari performing a stand up set, but if he does he will know that Ansari has raised the bar high.
