You may have heard recently that Gary Miller, also known as Dr. Know, the guitarist from legendary D.C. hardcore pioneers Bad Brains, was on life support in the hospital. While few details were available, with respect to the privacy of Miller’s family, there was still an outpouring of well-wishes from musicians inspired and influenced by Dr. Know’s guitar work. Well, the Bad Brains’ official Facebook page has given an update on Miller’s condition.
Fortunately, the news has taken a step in a positive direction, as Miller’s condition is no longer considered critical. He has not been released from the hospital yet, and so it is not necessarily a time for celebration, but perhaps that is not too far off on the horizon.
