If you like heartbreakingly pretty indie rock bands led by enchanting frontwomen, then you must have been very happy, in a very sad way, last night. Beach House and the xx played Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Conan, respectively, with the eyeshadow-heavy former playing “Wild” from 2012’s best album (so far) and the latter performing “Angels” from their upcoming album, Coexist, due out September 11. Prepare to swoon and/or sway.
