Queen Bey shared Vic’s “There’s Alot Going On,” the gripping, title track for his recently released, well received project of the same name, with her 84.4 million followers on Instagram. Maybe the song’s part of her pre-show routine to get her amped up before she takes the stage. That seems reasonable, since he’s opened for her on a few of the tour dates. Bey posted the video with clips of Mensa performing — presumably as her opener — while he’s belting out the song’s hook. At the time of this publishing, the post has racked up 1.4 million views plus over 1,600+ comments.
Of course, it’s not a stretch of the imagination that Bey would be rocking out to Mensa’s music considering he is signed to her husband’s Roc Nation. Also, the song’s lyrics detail where Vic’s life has taken him since Hov took him under his wings. As recently as June, she also popped up for the Chicago MC’s birthday celebration when most artists would fall out of their chairs and drop their phones if she tweeted “HBD!” to them. It’s good to see that she favors Mensa as much as she loves Chance The Rapper.
