Black Lips Channel Beastie Boys For ‘Raw Meat’ Video

The timing for Black Lips to release a video playing corrupt New York City cops is impeccable, isn’t it? What with the Occupy Wall Street raid last night and all. Filmed last month, the black-and-white video features the band dressed as New York City cops, riding around in a 1970s-era police car, giving it a distinct Beastie Boys “Sabotage” feel in my mind. It also features a cameo from the actor who played Johnny Weeks — that annoying as all hell drug addict on The Wire.
