Bob Dylan has been making music for well over 50 years. With a new album on the way, he sat down with AARP magazine and talked about his lengthy career. Apparently if he could have a re-do on his life, he thinks he’d scrap the folk legend thing and pursue an honorable career in teaching instead. From ABC News:

The 73-year-old is on the cover of AARP magazine’s February/March issue. He says in an interview that “if I had to do it all over again, I’d be a schoolteacher.” He adds that he “probably” would have taught Roman history or theology.

Mr. Dylan will be giving out some extra credit in the form of a free copy of his album to 50,000 readers of AARP next month. For the rest of us, “Shadows In The Night” will drop — as the kids say — on February 3rd.
