Bobby Brown’s First Interview Since Bobbi Kristina’s Death Is Very Emotional

Fair warning: if your plans for today don’t include breaking down in tears, you may not want to watch the above clip.

Bobby Brown gave his first interview after the tragic death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina, appearing on the talk show The Real to discuss his feelings. As the above clip demonstrates, he seems to be holding up pretty well, using humor to overcome his grief. He talks about the possibility of Bobbi reuniting with her mother, Whitney Houston, in Heaven, and how that thought brings him some comfort.

Still, he admits that it hasn’t been easy. In a promotional clip for the interview, Brown states that he could just as easily go backstage and start crying. At another moment, he regrets that he wasn’t able to intervene, and possibly prevent Bobbi Kristina’s death.

Bobby Brown has endured pain that no father should have to endure, and while he’s had some (very understandable) difficulties, he appears to be handling it better than anyone could have reasonably expected him to.
