How cool were the 90s? The internet had just started, acid-wash jeans were still an acceptable form of day wear (and night, in some special cases) and a little band called Green Day was years away from stardom while rocking out in their high school’s courtyard.
The concert, which was filmed from the stage with a handheld camera, was originally posted in 2013 and lived quietly on YouTube — very underground, very punk rock! — until today, when it exploded all over Reddit like chunks of Billie Joe’s guitar. It’s a cool piece of nostalgia, and at 51 minutes it’s just long enough to remind you how much you like (or dislike) Green Day.
