Do you view Coachella as a glorious left coast music festival paradise or is it more of a scene-attracting hellscape in your eyes? If you’re the latter, you may want to buddy up with David Spade. (You may also want to buddy up with Spade if you think the window’s closing on your Lost & Found 2 screenplay.)

A new Funny or Die clip starring the former Spade in America personality has bubbled up in time for Weekend 2 of Coachella. Boasting the straightforward title “David Spade Hates Coachella,” Spade is set up at a tent at the entrance of the festival and is engaged in a bit of chat with Joe Dirt 2 co-star Charlotte McKinney who plays your stereotypical Coachella attendee. Using an effective blend of sarcasm, condescension and general thread tugging, Spade gets in every jab possible while also offering up a great deal on coupons for the Molly stand. See! Venom and customer care.

Spade, who sports a hat that suggests he misses the H.O.R.D.E. Festival of yore, spends this chunklet of Coachella critique skewering folks that come for the scene and sweet port-a-potty sex and not so much for the actual acts that pop up onstage. (He’ll also put in a word if you find Axl Rose too blabby.) Your mileage may vary, but if you’ve had enough of the Instagram deluge of carefully crafted Coachella pics, this video may prove cathartic to you and your soul.
