One of the major candidates vying for the hearts and minds as this year’s Song Of The Summer was Demi Lovato’s seductive song “Cool For The Summer.” It was basically a forgone conclusion that Demi would heat up the stage at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards with the late summer jam, but no one was expecting the major surprise return of one of the highest-selling acts in rap – Iggy Azalea.
Breaking a self-imposed hiatus after for a months after several very public missteps and gaffes, Iggy returned to the stage performing a brand-new track with the already-scintillating Demi shaking it beside her. As you can imagine, the next few months could majorly make or break it for the Australian rapper, so attaching herself to a rising star like Demi Lovato could do wonders for Iggy (or it could go poorly for Demi)
Either way, the Confident singer scorched the VMAs’ Downtown L.A. stage with a fire performance of “Cool For The Summer.” Hopefully, her new album will be a smash appropriate for all seasons.
