The Wes Anderson font in the image above makes perfect sense: Dinosaur Jr.’s lazy (in a good way), hazy, beautiful cover of the first single from Phoenix’s Bankrupt!, “Entertainment,” could be the soundtrack to one of the director’s highly detailed, slow-mo scenes. Someone introduce J. Mascis to Bill Murray, they’d get along swimmingly.
Bankrupt! is out April 23rd, and the full-length Dinosaur Jr. Does Phoenix soon after, hopefully.
