This YouTuber Recreated Drake’s ‘One Dance’

Late last year, a clever Tumblr user named Seth Everman mashed-up Drake’s massive hit “Hotline Bling” with several classic Nintendo songs, from games such as Mario Kart 64, Legend Of Zelda: The Ocarina Of Time and Super Mario 64. It was a fun video that did an interesting job of noting the origins of “Hotline Bling.” Now, Everman is back, this time with a Youtube video, and once again, he’s having a little fun at the expense of Drizzy.

This time, Everman shows us how to recreate Drake’s “One Dance” with a series of homemade steps that would make MacGyver proud. First off, he tells us to play the piano with absolutely no emotion, but he cleverly adds sounds to the mix by blowing on a bottle of vodka, and tapping (naturally) a Legend Of Zelda game cartridge. The DIY sounds in the video actually do an incredible job of recreating the “One Dance” beat. Near the end of the 43-second video, Everman jokingly asks “what am I doing with my life,” but between these two videos, he’s displayed remarkable creativity. Why Drake is the subject for his mockery is anyone’s guess, but he’s certainly good at it. Everman better be careful, though; you don’t want to make trouble with Drake if you’re not in for the long haul. Just ask Meek Mill.
