There’s A Drake And Rihanna Website With A Countdown On It, But What Does It Mean?

STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING!

Actually, keep reading, but STOP EVERYTHING ELSE YOU ARE DOING!

There’s a website out there and the website’s address is…drakeandrihanna.com. What’s on this website? Funny you should ask because all that’s there is a countdown.

Uh, well, the numbers are in white and they are set in front of a black backdrop. On the bottom, also in white, are two hands pressed together and the number “6.”

If that combination looks familiar, it’s because it is. Drake copped it as a logo of sorts when Views came out.

So what does this mean? It’s a countdown. Countdowns usually mean a release is coming. Or a space ship is taking off. But unless Drake and Rihanna are joining forces to reignite America’s space program, or possibly start up a joint space program for Canada and the Barbados, this seems unlikely. Come on. Rihanna is already out of this world.

We did some digging and the domain is listed to an office park in Wakefield, England. What do we know about Wakefield, England?

Not much.

Okay, then. Moving on.

Let’s focus on what it’s counting, too. That might help.

This wouldn’t all just be about making some noise about a possible RiRi appearance at Drake’s show. That seems excessive.

In all likelihood, the dynamic duo and are they or aren’t they lovebirds are releasing something. An album, perhaps? Maybe it’s just a song? Maybe it’s an album full of songs? Hold up, is Drake dropping multiple albums in the near future, one with Kanye, one with Gucci Mane and another one with Rihanna? How does that young man find the time?

Or, there’s also this:

And you know, odds are the site is totally, 100% fake. Reaction on social media has shifted from excitement to skepticism and doubt, which is never a good thing. UPROXX reached out to OVO for comment, but as of now have yet to hear back.

So we’ll chalk this one up as “stay tuned for details.”
