Elle King Busts Ghosts While Partying Hard In Her New Video For’ ‘Good Girls’

Just in time for the big Ghostbusters reboot to hit theaters this week, bluesy rocker Elle King has released a new music video for “Good Girls” from the movie’s official soundtrack. In it, the feisty singer throws back booze, smokes cigars, challenges biker dudes to arm-wrestling matches (which she wins, of course), and defeats a few pesky ghosts in the process.

The clip kicks off in a haunted laundromat where the “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer, sporting leather and blue hair, crows devilishly into the camera, “I’m a whole lot of trouble in an itty bitty skirt” as if daring us to join her on a havoc-wreaking night out on the town. Most of the remaining scenes take place at a divey-looking bar and, naturally, the honorary ghostbuster King is the life of the wild party. There’s also a bit of footage from the movie itself, which stars Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig, along with Chris Hemsworth.

At the end of the video, you’re left with the feeling that the movie is going to be a lot of fun, and also that hanging out with Elle King would be an irresistible invite, though it’s likely that your night would end with a terrible hangover. But that all might just be worth it.
