Watch Erykah Badu’s 12-Year-Old Daughter Absolutely Nail Rihanna’s ‘Stay’

Erykah Badu has a little star on her hands. The high priestess of neo-soul uploaded clips of her 12-year-old daughter Puma following in her footsteps by nailing a soul-stirring cover of Rihanna’s “Stay.”

While seated on a spinning swing, Puma looks and sounds like her famous mom’s mini-me as she belts out her soulful version of Rihanna‘s modern-day classic. It should be no surprise the gifted pre-teen is filled with so much talent. On top of having Erykah Badu for a mother, Puma is also the daughter of N.W.A and Dr. Dre affiliate, The D.O.C.

Badu could very well have her own Jackson Family on her hands, minus the brutal beatings. The eccentric artist also shares a daughter with rap savant Jay Electronica, seven-year-old Mars. There’s also Badu’s son with the equally able Andre 3000. Seven Benjamin is now 19 years old and in college. Feel old yet?

Earlier this year 3 Stacks revealed he passed down his rapping genes to his first-born son. “He can actually rap, but he don’t want people to know that he can rap. But he’s good,” the other half of Outkast stated in a radio interview. “I told him to do it and don’t tell people. Just put it out. If people like it, they like it. You can reveal at any time. He might already have songs out that y’all listen to and you don’t even know.”
