Buffalo Soldier Rob Ford Has Proclaimed Today To Be Bob Marley Day In Toronto

Everyone’s favorite crack-smoking, home-eating mayor of a major North American metropolitan area (sorry Rahm Emanuel) and stampeding-walrus-of-a-man Rob Ford today proclaimed that February 6th in Toronto would heretofore be known as “Bob Marley Day”.

The official text of the proclamation reads:

Whereas each year on February 6, we honour the legacy of Robert (Bob) Nesta Marley, an influential musician, advocate for human rights and international ambassador of peace.

Really Rob? Quit the shit. Either he’s trying to apologize to the sizable Jamaican community in TO for this episode, or he thought of this idea while high as hell in his basement. I can just picture Rob Ford’s man-cave. So many posters of Marley and Scarface. I’d bet a crisp Sir Robert Borden that there’s a Wendel Clark signed jersey held up with tacks.

But of course, everyone knows Rob Ford loves him some Marley (here’s the video from a post Josh back in December that was criminally over-looked. Watch it now. It will put a smile on your face):

As a Canadian (you couldn’t tell, could you? We look just like you. ABOOOOOOOT!) I have to say: I freaking love this guy. So he’s not exactly the most subtle with his appearances, but c’mon, if you’re at a party and Rob Ford comes in you know it’s freaking ON. He’s like the real-life version of King Ralph.
