I believe Tenacious D put it best when they sang, “The government totally sucks, you motherf*cker/The government totally sucks/The government totally sucks.” It’s beautiful, really, and a nice summation of everything that’s happening, and not happening, in our nation’s capital right now. Parks are closed, federal employees are furloughed, and museums have been coated with gasoline and set on fire, I assume, so really, you have no excuse to not take advantage of 2-for-1 concert tickets in Washington D.C.
