During the first weekend of the Indian headdress festival known as Coachella, Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine broke her foot after leaping off the stage, an incident that’s bad news for everyone except whoever runs her WikiFeet page.
Welch, who’s about to release a new album with the Machine, didn’t want to cancel her weekend two gig, so she was carried on stage and remained seated for the entire show. To make up for “not being able to stand for you,” she brought out a special guest, Father John Misty. Together, they covered the classic “Love Hurts.” Watch it above.
